Jesse Jarvis, Pastor
Jesse and his wife Tiffany were married in May of 2002 and reside in Daytona Beach with their 1 yr old daughter Genevieve. Jesse came to Sovereign Grace Church with his family in 1990 at the age of 8. He graduated from Sovereign Grace Christian School in 1999 and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Broadcasting and Communication from Daytona State College in 2001.

After working under Sovereign Grace Church’s founding Pastor, Dan Walsh for four years on a volunteer basis, Jesse was hired as a Pastor in Training in November of 2003 and spent the next four years functioning as a Pastor over youth, singles and worship. In August of 2007, Jesse and Tiffany relocated to Gaithersburg, Maryland to attend the Sovereign Grace Ministries Pastors College. Upon his return home Jesse continued to serve as a Pastor and his responsibilities increased to involve oversight of small groups, pastoral counseling and half of the Sunday morning preaching.

In August of 2010, after nearly 25 years, Sovereign Grace’s Founding and Senior Pastor Dan Walsh retired and Jesse began to serve as the lead Pastor.

Jesse’s hobbies include surfing, reading and playing guitar, more than anything he loves spending time with his family and friends. Jesse enjoys an active lifestyle but despite his height advantage has absolutely no game whatsoever.
