Dan Walsh
Dan Walsh grew up in the Daytona Beach area and became a Christian when he was a senior in high school (class of '75). He was ordained as Sovereign Grace Church's first pastor in November of 1985 and now serves as the church's Sr Pastor. Dan's responsibilities as Senior Pastor of SGC include giving general direction and oversight, preaching & teaching, leadership training and care, and pastoral counseling. His hobbies include writing fiction.
He's been married to his wife Cindi since 1976. They live in Port Orange and have two children, Rebekah and Isaac.
Jesse Jarvis
Jesse grew up, for the most part, in nearby New Smyrna Beach and has attended SGC since he was 8 years old. Jesse and Tiffany were married in May 2002. He came on staff full time in December of 2003 and graduated from the Sovereign Grace Pastor's College in June 2008. His responsibilities include preaching and teaching and providing oversight to our youth, singles and worship ministries. His hobbies include surfing (he's pretty good with a hammer and drill).
Jesse differs from Dan in two significant areas: He is 6'4" tall (Dan is 5'8") and he loves cats (Dan loves dogs).
